Hoffman, former operative engineer at the Public Service Power plant here, were held from the H. S. Cunningham funeral home at 1 p.m. yesterday. The Rev. T. H. Dimmock, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church in Newport News, conducted the services. Burial was made in Elmwood cemetery, Norfolk. Mr. Hoffman is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Dewitt Elam, New York, and Miss Gretchen Hoffman, Boulevard, and two sisters Mrs. Jacob Kramer, Norfolk, and Mrs. Walter H. Simmons, Tarboro, N.C. The pallbearers were R. W. Guy, Reggie Wood, Floyd Barham, Charles West, Lee Ennis and J. B. McDaniel.
