Virginian Pilot, Wednesday, Oct. 20,1937
Mrs. Evelyn Eberson Hofheimer, aged 67, widow of Henry Clay Hofheimer, and
daughter of the late Rev. Bernard and Mrs. Phoebe Moss Eberson, died at a local
hospital yesterday at 6:30 p.m.  Mrs. Hofheimer was a native of Birmingham,
England, and a well known resident of Norfolk for the pas 60 years.  She is
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Schwan;  a son, Daniel Hofheimer, and two
grandchildren, Evelyn Babette and Henry Maxwell Schwan.

Funeral services will be held at the residence, 907 Colonial avenue, tomorrow
afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. L. D. Mendoza, D.D., of Ohef Sholom Temple,
of which Mrs. Hofheimer was a member, officiating.  Interment will be in Forest
Lawn Cemetery.
