Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 21, 2000
NORFOLK - Peter F. Hofstede, 55, passed away July 20, 2000, in a local hospital 
after a courageous fight against cancer.
He is survived by a daughter, Tara Hofstede of Yonkers, N.Y.; three sisters, 
Deanna Campbell of Chesapeake, Darlene Jernigan of Norfolk and Debra Edwards of 
Virginia Beach; a grandson, Darien Votee of Yonkers; two nieces, Summer Jernigan 
of Norfolk and Tammy Edwards of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Kyle Edwards of 
Virginia Beach; and best friend, Rose.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia 
Beach. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn 
Cemetery, Norfolk, with Father Jim Parke officiating.
"Our lives will be so empty without you."
