VIRGINIA BEACH - Agatha Kamstra Hofstede, 90, a resident of Holmes Convalescent 
Center, died Sunday in a hospital. She was a native of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 
and was the widow of Peter Johann Hofstede.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Robert Hofstede of Yonkers, N.Y.; a brother, 
Gerard Kamstra of Forestville, Calif.; five grandchildren;, and six great-
grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Joseph D. Aurora. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery. A prayer service will be said at 7 p.m. today in Smith & Williams 
Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, where the family will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
