A. HOGAN DEAD AT 75 NORFOLK - Hunter A. Hogan, 75, a lifelong resident of Norfolk and active in business affairs here, died Monday at 3:45 a.m. at his home, 623 W. Princess Anne Rd. Rosary services will be conducted today at 7:30 p.m. at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Funeral services will be Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Hogan was the son of George and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Newstead Hogan. He was for many years associated with George Hogan and Co., cotton brokers, and was a past president of the Norfolk Cotton Exchange. He later worked with the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority and was manager of Merrimack Park. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cecelia Philbin Hogan; a daughter, Mrs. Pretlow Darden of Norfolk; four sons, Hunter A. Hogan Jr., Norfolk; John A. Hogan, Haddenfield, N. J.; Thomas N. Hogan, Westville, N. J., and Lt. Cmdr. R. Bevin Hogan, USNR, Glenside, Pa.; two sisters, Miss Pamelia C. Hogan, Norfolk, and Mrs. Francis Doughty, Orlando, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
