Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, December 17, 1997 
Agnes Hogan of the 2500 block of Vincent Ave. died Dec. 11, 1997, in a local
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Arthur L. Hogan. She was a retired
nursing assistant and a lifelong member of St. John AME Church and its usher board.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Turner of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren,
Linwood, Angela, Robert, Sharon, Tee, Amin, Viola, Reginia, Dennis, Darryl,
Kenya, Iris; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John's A.M.E. Church by
the Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends
will assemble at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
