Mr. Hogan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a former member of the old firm of George Hogan & Co., cotton merchants, from which he retired about ten years ago. For the past several years he had been associated with Perry Buick Company, automobile dealers. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary Clark Hogan, he is survived by two daughters, Misses Mary Clark and Elizabeth Anne Hogan; two sons, George Emmett Hogan, Jr., and Joseph Clark Hogan, all of Norfolk; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Newstead Hogan, of Richmond; two brothers, Hunter A. Hogan, of Norfolk, and Thomas J. Hogan, of Melbourne, Australia; two sisters. Miss Pamela C. Hogan, of Richmond, and Mrs. Elizabeth N. Doughty, of Mobile, Ala., and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the residence, 712 Westover avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the residence Monday evening at 7:30 o’clock.
