VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Mary Clark Hogan of 208 59th St., widow of George Emmett 
Hogan and daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Molly Kelly Clark, died Friday in her home.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic 
Church.
She is survived by two sons, George Emmett Hogan Jr., and Joseph Clark Hogan of 
Virginia Beach, two daughters, Mrs. Wyndham Brown III of Virginia Beach and Mrs. 
Thomas O. Gwaltney III of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. William M. Walsh of Virginia 
Beach; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Star of the Sea Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin 
Road, tonight at 7:30.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to 
St. Mary’s Infant Home.
