Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch April 8, 1925
Eva Wise Hoge, 16-months-old daughter of Capt. Daniel H. and Mrs. Cornelia Womble 
Hoge, died at 11:30 o'clock last night at the residence of her grandparents, Mr. 
and Mrs. J. J. Womble, Bolling and Studley avenues, "Edgewater." Besides her 
parents and grandparents, she is survived by a sister, Cornelia Hoge. Funeral 
services will be held at the residence tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. Sparks 
W. Melton, D.D., of Freemason Street Baptist church, officiating. Interment will 
be in Elmwood cemetery.
