Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 2, 1992

Edward Hoggard, of the 100 block of Hough Ave., a short shoreman, died June 
27, 1992, in a hospital.
Mr. Hoggard was born in Martin County, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Hoggard; two daughters, LaTonya Shannon 
and Lashaundra Shannon, both of Norfolk; three sons, Edward Hoggard Jr. of 
Plymouth, N.C., and Edward Shannon and Anthony Shannon, both of Norfolk; and 
his mother, Louella Pittman of Williamston, N.C.
The graveside service will be conducted at noon Monday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Friends may join the family at 1 p.m. Friday at 
Metropolitan Funeral Service.
