NORFOLK - Harry Hoggard Sr. of 960 Maltby Ave., died Sunday in a local hospital. He
was the husband of Mrs. Essie D. Hoggard and was a native of Kinston, N.C.

He was retired after 45 years from Norfolk & Western Railway. He was a Baptist and
was a member of the Railroad Retirement Association.

Other survivors include a son, Kenneth A. Hoggard of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Carrie
Jones of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Graves Funeral Home. The family will be at his
home.
