Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday April 3, 1953
Mrs. Mary Clark Hogwood, 89, widow of James J. Hogwood, died at a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 4:05 a.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gustav Schneider and Mrs. J.C. 
Harris; a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Keagy and a great-grandson, Robert 
B. Keagy, Jr., all of Norfolk.
Mrs, Hogwood was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and had been a resident 
of Norfolk and Portsmouth for 85 years.
She was a member of Lekies Memorial Methodist Church and resided at 1529 
Ashland Circle.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 3 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
