A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Mrs. Mary Frances Burgess Hogwood. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mary Hogwood Stevens of Virginia Beach. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Paul Mims of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Herbert Stevens of 2264 Walke St., Virginia Beach.
