               GEORGE PERCY HOGWOOD KILLED IN ACTION
News has just been received of the death of George Percy Hogwood, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. George W. Hogwood, of this city. He was serving in Company D, 9th Infantry, 
A.E.F. He was killed in action September 12. The young man is survived by his 
parents, a brother, John L. Hogwood, now in France with the 115th Ambulance Corps, 
and two sisters, Misses Effie and Mary Hogwood, of Norfolk.
