Norfolk Virginian Saturday October 9, 1897

Lithea J. Holland, a step-daughter of Mr. John Jerber, of South street 
extended, died at 7:20 o'clock Wednesday night of diphtheria, aged 2 years and 
nine months.  The interment took place in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley, at 3 
o'clock yesterday, the Rev. Mr. Butler, pastor of the Christian Church of that 
city conducting the funeral services at the grave.
