Norfolk Landmark February 3, 1903
Mrs. Johanna (sic) Holland, widow of the late Captain Henry Holland, died suddenly 
Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at her residence, Bowden's Ferry (Lambert's Point), 
Norfolk county. Her death was unexpected, as she was only slightly ill three or 
four days prior to her death. It was therefore a severe shock to her friends. Mrs. 
Holland was 80 years of age and was one of the oldest residents of Lambert's 
Point, she having lived there nearly her whole life. Mrs. Holland's funeral will 
be solemnized at her late residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
