Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 14, 1931

Edward Holland, aged 80, died at his residence, North Wythe Place, Larchmont, 
yesterday afternoon at 5:40 o'clock. He was a native of Norfolk County and had 
spent his entire life in this section.  He was a prominent trucker and widely 
known.  Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie B. Trammell Holland; 
two daughters, Mrs. A.L. Foster and Miss Virginia Dare Holland; two sons, Edwyn 
T. Holland, of Cleveland, Ohio and R. Dunlap Holland, of Hopewell; three 
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. A.J. Backus and Mrs. T.G. Harmon and several 
nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at the residence Thursday at 
12 o'clock noon.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
