He fell into the pit and the marl, which was disturbed by his fall, covered him up several feet deep. The man, who was about 28 years old, could speak but little English, and had every appearance of being an adventurer, whose vocation at home had not been such as he was attempting to engage in here. In all probability his lack of experience as a laborer was in a measure responsible for his untimely end. He was very fair and his hands showed but very little evidence of hard work, such as he was attempting to engage in at the plant. There being no one to claim his body, and no one in this country with whom to communicate concerning him, the remains were turned over to Funeral Director E.L. Cox for burial, which will take place in Magnolia Cemetery this morning. The funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock at the funeral apartments of Mr. Cox.
