Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 10,1942
The funeral of William Holley of 252 Kent street, who died September 29, at a 
local hospital at the age of 57 was held at Hale Chapel with the Rev. W. E. 
Williams officiating.  Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery.  Mr. Holley was 
born in Edenton, NC, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 30 years.  He is 
survived by his widow, Mrs. Catherdy Holley.
