Virginian Pilot September 30, 1986

Grant Holley of the 800 block of Wide St. died Sept. 25, 1986, in a hospital.
Mr. Holley, a Norfolk native, worked for C.E. Thurston Co. for four years.  He 
was a member of Zion Light Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Lane of Virginia Beach and Lorraine 
Perkins of Chesapeake; a son, Grant Perkins Jr.; his mother, Katie Holley; and 
two sisters, Katie Williams and Lillian Bell, all of Norfolk; three brothers, 
Richard Holley Jr. of Edenton, N.C., Welton Holley and Robert Holley, both of 
Norfolk; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conduced at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home by 
the Rev. J.L. Kearney.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will 
meet at the residence.
