Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, July 1, 1997 
Ervin Melvin Holley, of the 5900 block of Northampton Blvd., died June 28, 1997,
in a local hospital.

A native of Virginia, he was a postal carrier with the U.S. Post Office for 33
years before retiring 16 years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Holley of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Dorothy
Boyd, and brother-in-law, James Boyd Sr. of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Edward
E. Holley of Norfolk and Leon Holley of Elizabeth City, N.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by
Fr. Harold J. Cobb Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Relatives and
friends will assemble at the chapel for the service.
