NORFOLK - Mrs. Beatrice Elizabeth Holley of 2749 Stickney Ave., Toledo, Ohio, died 
Thursday in her home.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Clifton A. Holley Sr., and the late 
Martha Wilson Holley, and a member of Saint Gary’s Catholic Church. She was a 
graduate of St. Joseph High School, and attended Norfolk State College and 
Philadelphia State College.
Besides her father, survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Holley McInnis of 
Chicago, and Mrs. Martha Holley Harrell of Clarksville, Tenn.; and a brother, 
Clifton A. Holley Jr., of Virginia Beach.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be said Wednesday at noon in Saint Mary’s 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Thomas Quillian. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Jones 
Funeral Home Chapel. The family will assemble at 2637 Barre St., Norfolk.
