Norfolk - Final rites for Mrs. Sallie Holliday, 71, of 431 Nicholson street, who 
died April 18 in a hospital will be held Sunday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  The 
Rev. W. O. Deloach will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with 
Jones Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Scotland Neck, NC, Mrs. Holliday was the daughter of George M. James 
and Mrs. Betty James and widow of Hardy Holliday.  She was a member of Mt. Zion.  
She retired from Ballard Fish Company after 15 years of service.

Surviving are a son, Earl Holliday of New York;  a daughter, Mrs. Estelle 
Pettus;  a brother, Eugene James;  and a sister, Mrs. Nonie Holliday;  and nine 
grandchildren.
