Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 8,1964

Norfolk - Hardy Holliday, 68, of 832 Smith street, was given final rites 
recently at Mother Church of God in Christ with Bishop D. Lawrence Williams 
officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery under direction of Jones Funeral Home.

Mr. Holliday was a native of Scotland Neck, NC.  He was a member of Solid Rock 
Prayer Band.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sallie Holliday;  a son, Earl E. Holliday of 
New York;  a daughter, Mrs. Estelle Pettus of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Rosa 
Smith of New York;  and three grand children.
