Edward Holloman, who died in St. Vincent's Hospital Wednesday from sun-stroke, which he suffered on last Tuesday, was buried yesterday by the city in Elmwood cemetery. The unfortunate young man's relatives could not be located, and unless efforts which are still being made to locate them are successful he will fill a pauper's grave. Holloman, who is about 25 years of age, was at work for Contractor Dickinson, near the Belt Line crossing of the Seaboard, when he was overcome by the heat and carried to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment. He had applied to Mr. Dickinson only about a week before for employment, and his employer stated yesterday that he had learned nothing about the young man except that he had come from North Carolina and that he had a cousin at Pinner's Point. Clerk Kelly, of the Board of Health, in the absence of Secretary Pannill, has made inquiries regarding relatives to take charge of the remains, and failing to find them gave a permit for the interment of the remains in Elmwood. Additional Comments: Elmwood Cemetery Unrecorded Interment: Different accounts change his age to 35 and spell his name as Halloman.
