Norfolk - Funeral services will be held June 4 for Mrs. Eliza Holloway of 907 
Denhart street who died Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness.  
The Rev. A. E. Johnson will deliver the eulogy at Shiloh Baptist Church where 
the deceased was a member.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral 
Home in charge.

A native of Shiloh, NC, she was the daughter of John Spence and Mrs. Frances 
Spence, both deceased and the widow of Major Holloway Sr.

Surviving are a son, Major Holloway Jr. of Norfolk;  five daughters, Mrs. Edith 
Tease of Englewood, NJ, Mrs. Lucille H. Southall of New York, Mrs. Martha H. 
Martin of Norfolk, Mrs. Thelma H. Simmons of Jamaica, LI, NY, and Mrs. Vivian H. 
Brown of Norfolk;  four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
