FALL DOWN STAIRS FATAL.
Charles H. Holloway, of Tarboro, N.C., and formerly of Norfolk, fell down stairs 
Monday night last, at the home of Mrs. A. V. Russell, No. 70 Charlotte street, 
where he was visiting, and received serious injury to his head, dying therefrom 
yesterday.
It seems he was coming from the bath room when the accident occurred and it is 
supposed that he stepped into the stairway thinking he was entering the door of 
a room. He was a native of England and lived in Norfolk a number of years, being 
well known here.
He was 56 years of age. He had been visiting here about two weeks. The funeral 
occurred at 4 p.m. today at the grave in Elmwood cemetery, Rev. F. G. Davis, of 
Trinity Methodist Church, officiating.
