Virginian-Pilot November 21, 1979
NORFOLK - Mrs. Jettie Blanche Hollowell, 92, of 6300 Richmond Place, the widow 
of William Bray Hollowell and a native of South Carolina, died Tuesday in a 
hospital.
She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church and a past worthy 
matron of Ocean View Eastern Star Chapter 34.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Luise K. Quist, two sons, A. Grier Kelly Sr. 
and William B. Hollowell, and two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie L. Brown and Mrs. Daisy 
B. Brown, all of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Cox Funeral Home for a funeral today at 3:30 p.m. in 
Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis J. Schmidt. The family requests that flowers 
be omitted and memorial donations may be made to the Cot Fund of Christ and St. 
Luke's Church.
