Virginian Pilot March 26, 1983

Vivian Lane Hollowell, 83, of 1044 Chesapeake Ave. died Friday in her home.
She was a native of South Norfolk and the widow of Cecil E. Hollowell.  She had 
retired from Chesapeake schools as a teacher.  Mrs. Hollowell was a member of 
South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school 
teacher for 47 years.
Survivors include a sister, Martha Lane of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Willis E. Joiner.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery, Norfolk.
Memorial donations may be sent to South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church.
