Virginian-Pilot  January 27, 1946
Miss Mariana Holly, daughter of the late William J. and Mrs. Mary Burns Holly, 
died at a local hospital Saturday morning at 4 o’clock. Miss Holly was a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, residing at 356 West Olney Road at the time of her death.
Surviving her are two sisters, Misses Lucille M. and Julia Etta Holly, and a 
cousin, William B. Rudolph, all of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services Monday 
morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
