Virginian-Pilot  June 20, 1926
Mrs. Mary A. Holly, widow of William L. Holly, died at 7:30 o’clock yesterday 
morning at the residence, 2 Preston Apartments, 359 West Princess Anne road. She 
was a native of Petersburg, but had been a resident of Norfolk five years.
She is survived by four daughters, Misses Margaret A., Lucille M. and Julia Holly, 
of Norfolk, and Sister Mary Constance Holly, of the Franciscan Order; one son, 
William J. Holly, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. George Lipscomb, of Washington, 
D.C.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which she was a 
consistent member, tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
