Mrs. Essie V. Holmes - Funeral services for Mrs. Essie V. Holmes, 311 Mahone
avenue were held March 22 at First Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. J.
C. Diamond officiating.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by four sons, Clarence, Burt, Carlton and Stanley
Holmes; four daughters, Misses Inez and Murrill Holmes, Madams Reva H. Hill, and
Lovie Pinkerney of New York City; and eight grandchildren. Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery.
