                     DEATH OF A PROMINENT TRUCKER.
Burdette W. Holmes, a prominent trucker of West Norfolk, died yesterday morning 
about 8:30 o'clock, after a protracted illness, aged about 50 years. He leaves a 
widow and several children. The funeral services will be held from the residence 
of the deceased, near West Norfolk, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains 
will be interred in Elmwood cemetery.
