Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 13, 1935
Mrs. Hannah Esther Holmes, 81, formerly a resident of Norfolk, died at her home in 
Lynchburg, Va., last night at 11 o'clock after a long illness, according to word 
received here. She was a native of Brackney, Pa., but had lived a number of years 
in Norfolk. Mrs. Holmes is survived by three sons and two daughters.
The body will be brought to Norfolk for funeral services and interment in Elmwood 
cemetery tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
