Virginian-Pilot December 12, 1967
NORFOLK - Mrs. Jenniewee Gertrude Holmes, 87, a daughter of William Edgar and Mrs. 
Laudiskie Kemp Howell, died in a St. Petersburg, Fla. hospital Sunday.
Mrs. Holmes, a native of Norfolk, lived in St. Petersburg several years. She was a 
member of St. Luke's Methodist Church, St. Petersburg.
She is survived by a brother, William Harold Howell of Portsmouth; and two 
nephews, Alonzo Holton Howell of the Air Force, Cocoa Beach, Fla., and W. Hobbs 
Howell of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at a time to be 
announced. The family will be at the home of W. Hobbs Howell, 1045 Hanover Ave., 
Norfolk.
