Virginian-Pilot January 5, 1917
HOLMES - At Henderson, N.C., on Wednesday, January 3, 1917, at 6:20 o'clock a.m., 
VIRGINIUS C. HOLMES, in the 64th year of his age.
The remains will be taken from the residence of his sister, Mrs. J. C. Dalby, 331 
Duncan avenue, to the Freemason Street Baptist Church for funeral services FRIDAY 
AFTERNOON, January 5, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment in Elmwood cemetery.
