The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, March 8, 1983

NORFOLK - Joseph B. Holmes of 1726 Princeton Ave., a native of Norfolk, died 
Saturday in a hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Holmes; two sisters, Mable Russell of Norfolk 
and Gertrude Taylor of Gary, Ind.; and a brother, Emmett Holmes of Norfolk.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Graves Funeral Chapel. Burial 
will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
