FUNERAL OF MR. DENNIS HOLMES

The funeral of this well-known fireman, whose death has been noted before, took 
place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from his late residence in Moseley Street, 
and was largely attended by his friends, the members of the fire department and 
those of the local branch of the Virginia State Firemen's Association.  The 
services at the house and grave, which was in the Catholic Cemetery, were 
conducted by the Rev. Father Gaston Payne, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Catholic 
Church.  The pallbearers represented the fire department, State Firemen's 
Association and his friends.
