THOMAS S. HOLMES
Thomas S. Holmes died at a local hospital Thursday night at 9:30 o’clock, after a 
long illness. He was a native of Norfolk and resided in this city all his life. He 
is survived by a niece, Mrs. M. W. Williams, of this city, and one nephew, William 
B. Griflin, of Camden, N. J.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o’clock from the funeral 
apartments of H. D. Oliver, 610-12 East Freemason street. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s cemetery.
