Mrs. Pauline Cecelia Holmes, aged 63 wife of William M. Holmes, died last 
night at 10 o’clock at the residence, apartment No. 3, 405 Raleigh Avenue. She 
was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Besides her husband she is survived by 
one son, George E. Holmes; an adopted son, Edward Thomas; three daughters, 
Mrs. W. Henry Jordan of Norfolk; Mrs. R.E. Moreland of Vallejo, Calif., and 
Mrs. Frances H. Watts of Asheville, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. M.M. Caler of 
Baltimore; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 
held at H.D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, 
Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Apartments, 405 Raleigh Avenue, Tuesday, November 5th, 1929 at 10 o’clock 
p.m., Pauline Cecelia, wife of William M. Holmes, aged 63 years.
Services at H.D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, No. 610-612 East Freemason 
Street, Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to 
attend. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
