Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday February 1, 1953
Mrs. Eleanor Granger Holt, 65, widow of Capt. Felix R. Holt, USN, and 
daughter of Mrs. Cora Hoffman Granger and the late John Tilston Granger, 
died yesterday at 12:20 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Holt, a native of Passaic, N.J., had been a resident of Norfolk for 40 
years, residing at 114 East 41st Street at the time of her death.
Besides her mother, Mrs. Cora Hoffman Granger, of Norfolk, she is survived 
by three sons, Robert G. Holt, of Norfolk; Henry R. Holt, of Setauket, Long 
Island, N.Y. and Paul deC. Holt, of Norfolk, and four grandchildren. She was 
a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending 
arrangements.
