IRA T. HOLT DIES AT AGE OF 76 Well-Known Woman Follows Husband In Death In Little More Than Month Mrs. Anna Rebecca Holt, widow of Ira T. Holt, who died June 21, died last night at midnight at her residence, 121 West Twenty-eighth street. She was 76 years old. Mrs. Holt, a native of Pleasant Hill, N.C., had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 53 years, and had hundreds of friends in Eastern Virginia and North Carolina to whom news of her death will come as a shock. She had been in failing health for some months. Mrs. Holt was a member of Epworth Methodist Church. Mrs. Holt is survived by five daughters, Miss Lucy Mason Holt, principal of the Ocean View School; Miss Nancy Holt, a missionary to Brazil; Mrs. R.H. Rice, of Washington and Mrs. S.B. East and Mrs. Fred Marcus, of Norfolk' one son, Henry D. Holt, of San Diego, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. J.T. Barham, of Capron and Mrs. G.A. Iles, of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Dr. Joshua Daniels, of Tennessee and 13 grandchildren. The body was removed to the funeral home of H.D. Oliver, 610-612 East Freemason street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ******************************************************* Mrs. Anna Rebecca Holt - Funeral services for Mrs. Holt, widow of Ira T. Holt, and daughter of the late C.C. and Mary Adelina Sills Daniels, whose death occurred Saturday at 12 o'clock midnight, will be held at the residence 121 West Twenty-eighth street, this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. George Wesley Jones, D.D., of Danville; the Rev. J.L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church and the Rev. T.A. Smoot, D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist Episcopal Church, of which Mrs. Holt was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
