Virginian-Pilot October 31, 1972
NORFOLK - Robert Granger Holt, 63, of 6220 Rolfe Ave., died Sunday in a 
hospital.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he lived in the area 45 years.
He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Eggleston Holt and a son of Navy Capt. Felix 
Renouf Holt and Mrs. Eleanor Granger Holt.
He retired as a Navy Lieutenant Commander after service in World War II.
He retired from Naval Supply Center as a supervisor after 27 years.
He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Surviving, besides his widow, are a brother, Henry Renouf Holt of Seataucket, 
Long Island, N.Y.; a niece; and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive, Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Roger C. Snyder of St Andrew’s Episcopal 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
