Virginian Pilot, Saturday, Sept. 12, 1953

Paul deCourcy Holt, 34, husband of Mrs. Virginia Forbes Holt and son of the late
Capt. Felix R. and Mrs. Eleanor Granger Holt, died at a Norfolk hospital
yesterday at 7:05 a.m.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul deCourcy Holt, Jr., and
Charles Granger Holt;  his grandmother, Mrs. Carra H. Granger, all of Norfolk,
and two brothers, Robert Granger Holt, of Norfolk, and Henry R. Holt, of
Setauket, Long Island, NY.

Mr. Holt was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, and resided at 5921 Glenhaven
Crescent.  He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and was a veteran of
World War II.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow
at 4 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
