CRADOCK — Glynn Francis Hooker, 26, of 1005 Deep Creek Blvd, died Thursday at 
2:20 pm. in a Portsmouth hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Fentress, Norfolk County, and lived in Cradock the last five 
months. He was a son of Ora Glynn and Mrs. Mattie Dail Hooker, now of Guam.
He was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church and a salesman for Giant Food, 
Inc.
Besides his parents, surviving are his widow, Mrs. Joyce Vander Meer Hooker; one 
daughter, Melani K. Hooker of Cradock; one sister, Miss Sharon Marlene Hooker of 
Guam; and two brothers, Wayne Kent Hooker of Cradock and Robert Keith Hooker of 
Guam.
The body was taken to Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk.

SOUTH NORFOLK - A funeral service for Glynn Francis Hooker, who died Thursday, 
will be conducted in Graham Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. William 
A. Richardson of Great Bridge Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Claude Miles, 1201 Hawthorne 
Ave.
