VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Cecil M. Hooks, 47, of 3100 E. Cheltingham Place, the wife 
of Francis J. Hooks and a daughter of Mrs. Roberta S. Moore of Norfolk and the 
late William H. Moore, died in a nursing home Monday.
A native of Richmond, she lived here 20 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas 
Catholic Church.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Paula D. 
Hooks, and a son, Joseph W. Hooks, both of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Mrs. 
Charles G. Boone, Mrs. William J. Walsa, and Mrs. Robert H. Dozier of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in St. Nicholas Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial is pending.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin 
Road, tonight at 7:30.
