The Virginian Pilot Sunday January 26, 1958
Norfolk-Henry DeBerniere Hooper, 76, son of Henry DeBerniere and Mrs. Jessie 
Wright Hooper, died at a West Palm Beach, Fla., hospital Friday at 7 p.m. He 
is survived by a sister, Mrs. Louise Hooper Ewell, of Princess Anne County.
Mr. Hooper was a native of Edenton, N.C. and had been a resident of New York 
for 40 years. He was official court reporter for the Lawyers Assn. for a 
number of years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood 
Cemetery for graveside services Monday at 11 a.m.
