Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 31, 1930

Dorothy Mae Hooten, one-year-old daughter of Rudolph B. and Catherine Myers 
Hooten, died at 12:05 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence of her parents, 
Lawrence Street, Brandon Place, Norfolk County. Besides her parents, she is 
survived by one sister, Mary R. Hooten; three brothers, Rudolph B. Hooten, Jr., 
William E. and Robert E. Hooten; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. L.E. Hooten and 
her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Myers. Funeral services will be 
conducted at the residence tomorrow at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
