Joe French, pastor of the Ocean View Christian Church, and Rev. W. W. Williford, secretary of the V. E. & P. Y. M. C. A. There was a large attendance. The casket was covered with a pall of pink roses, white chrysanthemums and white snapdragons. During the services, Mrs. L. T. Ward sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "Abide With Me." accompanied by Mrs. Alma W. Moss. Pallbearers were A. L. Dilldine, J. W. Guerrant, W. W. Williford, J. F. Stant, Frank Hodges and R. A. Fentress. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
