Norfolk Landmark March 8, 1898
The funeral of Mary Etta Hope, the 9-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George D. 
Hope, took place from the Queen Street M. E. Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. W. Moore and the interment was 
in Elmwood cemetery.
